The 6th Annual National Aviation Infrastructure Show NAIS-2019, a recognized industry event in Russia and the CIS, dedicated to the infrastructure of airports, airlines, helicopter centers and landing sites, was held in Pavilion 2 of the Exhibition Center “Crocus Expo” on February 6-7. This exhibition annually brings together professionals and managers of airlines, government and business representatives, suppliers of products, technologies and services.
As usual, NEOCAN gathered friends and associates at its booth, showcased innovations and technologies from such well-known global manufacturers as SMITHS DETECTION, CEIA, TEKNİK DÖKÜM.
For the first time in Russia, HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX, the latest generation of Explosives Detection Systems and an unique Computed Tomograph for inspecting hand luggage at Check Points, was showcased. HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX is certified for automatic detection of explosives according to EU EDS CB C3 and TSA AT-2. While the inspection, Hi‑Scan 6040CTiX accepts leaving liquid containers, laptops, cell phones and other electronic devices in a carry-on baggage. It increases Check Point throughput while maintaining high precision pf of explosive detection.
Any visitor of our booth could see performances of the technology. In particular, HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX is able to detect wires with a diameter of up to 0.12 mm - an unique result unattainable by any competitor.
NEOCAN showcased also SAMDEX, a scanner by CEIA, that examines shoes right on the human foot. SAMDEX is a technology that meets the strongest modern requirements to security provision. Within a few seconds, SAMDEX automatically detects explosives, firearms and cold arms, effectively selecting footwear accessories, like zippers, metal inserts, etc.
